The mission of the Araullo University Political Science Student Organization is to promote academic scholarship, leadership and responsible citizenship among students. To patronize solid liberal arts curriculum that exposes students to the principal sub fields of the discipline and develops transferable skills of liberal learning.

AUPSSO General Assembly held!

The Araullo University Political Science Student Organization (AUPSSO) hold its General Assembly for this Academic Year 2009-2010 last August 28, 2009. The highlight of the event was the 1st quarter report of the Governor - Darren J. Gonzales as well as the future programs for Political Science students in the university; some of the issues raised were the following: the executive unifors, proposed educational tours, participation to different community outreach projects and more.

PolSci walks with CHANGE!

AUPSSO attended the LAKAD para sa PAGBABAGO! a Good Governance and Responsible Voting Campaign organized by the College of the Immaculate Conception in partnership with Araullo University PHINMA and the KAYA NATIN Movement last August 22, 2009

The event was attended by an overwhelming some 5,000 students and employees alike and other youth organizations. The pack of change-makers assembled in the huge Magnificat Center by 6am and reached the mammoth gymnasium of Araullo University before lunch where a short program culminated the event.

PolSci Students attended Leaders Congress!

August 17 - The Araullo University Political Science Student Organization attended the recently concluded Student Leaders Congress. The event was successfully attended by all recognized student organizations as well as the Supreme Student Government including its political subdivison. A short team building activity was facilitated by the Society of Student Assistants headed by its Coordinator, Mr. John Paul Vicencio before the start of the congress proper. Prof. Adele S. Traspe, the Director for Center for Student Development and Leadership uinderscores the need of habits to be an effective student leaders. Right after the talk of Prof. Traspe, Mr. Honey Rohcel V. Sapitan, the Student Development Specialist informed the participants of the newly recognized student organizations of the university. The congress ended with a bang with a word factory-like-activity participated in by different student leaders all over the university.

AUPSSO Officers Officially Inducted!

Araullo University Political Science Student Organization (AUPSSO) hold their Induction Ceremony for the new set of officers for the academic year 2009-2010 last July 30, 2009 at the College of Arts and Sciences Dean’s Office.

The ceremony was spearheaded by no other than Dr. Gerarda R. Rivera the Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences, as the inducting officer for the newly elected AUPSSO Student Officers. The event was perfectly attended by the officers as well as their vibrant and very supportive adviser Prof. David S. Curayag Jr.; the ceremony was observed by the program head of Social Science department Dr. Fidela G. Aban.

After the ceremonial induction, the officers hold their 2nd Board meeting for this month over at lunch.

AUPSSO ready for KUDOS '09

The Araullo University Political Science Student Organization (AUPSSO) was seeking for re-accreditation this academic year 2009-2010, as part of its process for recognition; the organization submitted to the Center for Student Development and Leadership (CSDL) its newly updated documents needed to renew our license to "operate" in the university.

AUPSSO is now ready for KUDOS ’09 as well as to serve the whole Political Science population this academic year! Congratulations AUPSSO!

The Araullo University Political Science Student Organization held the election for their new set of officers for the academic year 2009-2010 last June 23, 2009

The election was facilitated by Prof. David S. Curayag Jr. (the Adviser) and was joined in by the members of the organization coming from the different year levels of Political Science Department.
